Porcelain Veneers
Imagine yourself with a beautiful, natural-looking smile! Did you know that many of the smile makeovers you see on television utilize porcelain veneers? Porcelain veneers can turn worn, misshapen, broken and discolored teeth into a beautiful, natural smile.
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain, custom-designed to fit your smile and compliment your overall appearance. After some tooth preparation, Dr. Rahill or Dr. Simon permanently bonds your new veneers to the front surface of your teeth, giving you a smile transformation. Just a few visits are all that stand between you and a youthful, brighter and straighter smile! Call our office for more information about getting porcelain veneers in Oklahoma City OK.
Tooth Whitening
You can have the confidence that comes from a bright, white smile. If you are happy with the alignment and spacing of your teeth, a tooth whitening procedure may be all that separates you from a dazzling smile. Tooth whitening is safe, effective and long lasting. There are two main methods to get excellent results: a custom home tooth whitening kit or a Zoom! in-the-office procedure.
At Home Whitening
A take-home whitening kit is an option available for you to whiten your teeth at your own pace at home. Your custom home whitening kit involves a special tray that is customized to fit over your teeth. You also receive prescription whitening gel, which is inserted into the tray before you wear it. Dr. Rahill or Dr. Simon give you detailed instructions about how long you should wear the tray each day and you should expect the entire home whitening process to take between two and four weeks, leaving you with a dazzling smile. If you want a more immediate, dramatic improvement in the brightness of your smile, Rahill & Simon Dental offers Zoom!™ whitening. Call our office for more information about teeth whitening in Oklahoma City OK.
Zoom!™
Are you looking for fast, dramatic results? Zoom!™ whitening can give you a brilliant, sparkling smile in a single visit! Drs. Rahill and Simon customize your Zoom!™ whitening treatment to your needs utilizing a customized treatment tray that fits over your teeth, as well as a specialized light that interacts with the whitening agent. Under the supervision of Dr. Rahill or Dr. Simon, you can see a smile that's up to eight shades whiter in as little as 45 comfortable minutes. And, with a little maintenance from at-home treatments, your white smile will last and last!
After Whitening
After completing your Zoom!™ whitening treatment, you may experience some tooth sensitivity for a day or so. Feel free to use any over-the-counter medication that you would usually use for minor aches and discomfort, e.g. Tylenol, Aspirin or Advil. Use as directed on the label.

Porcelain Bridges
Sometimes a damaged, discolored tooth, or a missing tooth, creates a gap in your smile. And, nothing makes a person more self conscious about smiling than the thought of having a jack-o-lantern grin. Porcelain bridges allow you to have a complete, healthy-looking smile, permanently!
A porcelain bridge "bridges the gap" in your smile by using the teeth on either side of the gap as anchor points for a custom-milled, natural looking prosthetic tooth. After preparing the neighboring teeth, Dr. Rahill or Simon will create lifelike crowns for them. The prosthetic tooth goes between the crowns, just like a bridge, and everything is comfortably positioned into place. Your newly completed smile will look as youthful and natural as ever!
Porcelain Crowns
Are you self-conscious about your smile due to cracked, broken, decayed or worn teeth? Porcelain crowns bring back your healthy, natural-looking smile.
A porcelain crown from Rahill & Simon Dental is a custom-made tooth, milled out of porcelain, that is placed over your own natural tooth (after a little preparation). Since the crown is made especially for you, it will be indistinguishable from your natural teeth, and will function so naturally that it feels fantastic. Additional benefits of crowns are correcting bite problems, closing spaces between teeth or changing the angulations of teeth. Whether you require one or several crowns, you can rest assured that your smile will look incredible. Plus, with CEREC® technology, most crowns can be milled while you wait, eliminating the need for you to have a temporary crown!
Tooth-Colored Fillings
When decay has been taken out of the tooth, it is replaced with "filling" material. In the past, amalgam (silver/mercury) fillings were placed into the cleaned out portion of the tooth. With advancements in dentistry, you can now have tooth-colored fillings instead of silver fillings. Besides looking more natural, tooth colored fillings bond to the remaining tooth, making it much stronger than one that is restored with a silver filling. You may even elect to remove your old silver fillings and replace them with natural tooth-colored fillings.
Bonding
Bonding is a tooth-colored material applied and adhered to the surface of the tooth without reducing the structure of the tooth in most cases. Then, Dr. Rahill or Dr. Simon will sculpt the material to create a natural-looking tooth. Bonding corrects chipped and broken teeth, discolored teeth and in some cases can correct gaps. It is less expensive than veneers, but it may not last as long. The benefits of bonding are that generally, the natural structure of the tooth can be maintained, the aesthetic effects are immediate, and it is great for kids with developing smiles!
Gum Contouring
Do you see a lot of your gum tissue when you smile? Many people with "gummy smiles" don't know that there are treatments available to cosmetically enhance the look of your gums. Dr. Rahill or Dr. Simon can recontour the appearance of your gum tissue. With the addition of beautiful porcelain veneers, your gummy smile disappears, revealing a bright, youthful smile that looks natural and proportioned. The entire process takes a few visits and because of advancements in cosmetic techniques and the user of a dental laser, your comfort is assured and the healing process is enhanced. Call Rahill & Simon Dental and begin transforming your smile today!
